CODEX is a Belgrade drum n bass collective that brought to Serbia over 100 international DJs from the very top of the drum'n'bass, breakbeat, jungle and dubstep scene, they are behind the newly opened Metnem label, which in a short time became known all over the planet . Codex members are Ranko (Phase) Marić and Đorđe (Tox) Milašinović.
Dealing with the organization of festivals and parties in Serbia, they had the honor of collaborating and sharing the stage with the biggest DJs of the world's electronic music scene, while numerous releases enabled them to collaborate with musicians outside the dnb genre. They regularly collaborate with international promoters and DJs including Chemical Brothers, Freestylers, Pendulum, Dieselboy, TeeBee, Noisia, Roni Size, BTK, John B, Fresh, Chase & Status, Ed Rush, Optical, RymeTyme, Marky, MC Stamina, LTJ Bukem, Bulletproof, Future Prophecies, Cause4Concern, Klute, Raiden, Technical Itch, Squier, The Sect, Verse, Spectrasoul, Impulse, Mayhem, Grooverider, D-Bridge, Vegas BC, Maldini BC, Kemal, Black Sun Empire, Drumsound, Krust, Makoto, J Majik, Chris Su, Mindscape, Epsilon, Danny Wheeler and others.

The energy of their parties and Codex sound has long gone beyond the borders of the country they come from, as shown by their regular appearances at European and American festivals and parties.

Metnem is a label focused on futuristic and experimental cyberneuro drum'n'bass, be it bangers or a deeper sound. So far, they have released the music of War from France, Codex, Bohemian, Hermetik and Senzzor from Serbia, VRH and Result from Croatia, Billain from Bosnia. On the following editions, you will have the opportunity to hear many other artists whose tapes are currently in the mastering phase.
