Shibari is an independent music project from Nikoli Krakovetsky. Shibari is known for creating ethereal, ambient, and journey-like soundscapes that blend progressive and experimental rock with avant-garde and IDM-inspired textures. The artist focuses on mood orchestration, weaving together emotional and atmospheric elements to form immersive aural experiences. Nikoli's classical training started at the age of 3 and they grew up surrounded by music instructors & musicians. It is where the culmination of organic and digital intertwine.

The word Shibari translates to suspension/paralysis and is often known as the sensual art of binding. Shibari often rejects major label offers, preferring to release music through Inter.net, a small collective label run by Shibari and other experimental artists. Nikoli has been releasing albums circa 2005 and continues to push their creative freedom with each release.
